Aftertouch is an audio & visual production and post production studio based in Cape Town.

 

Definition of Aftertouch: You can affect parameters AFTER the initial TOUCH. That is, once a velocity value has been transmitted with the initial pressing of the key(s) on a keyboard, you can further control parameters by varying the amount of pressure on the key(s).

 

We are aware that in this industry, parameters and dynamics constantly change, your initial and ultimate visions don't always see eye to eye and often we wish time would stand still. Aftertouch delivers flexibility, understanding, professionalism and experience to make the road to the final product that much smoother.

• Aftertouch has been commissioned to handle the audio post production on the feature film "Copposites" and to oversee the music score.

 

11 May 2011

• Aftertouch had the privilege of doing the audio post production on the EPK's for South Africa's first 3D stereoscopic animation feature film, "The Lion of Judah". A big up to Deryck Broom (Director) at Trilogy Creative Studios.

• Zoovolution, a 3D, 26 minute pilot for a proposed 26 part television series, in which Aftertouch completed all recordings and sound design,
  has generated interest from the likes of CBBC and Nickelodeon and we’re holding our breath that something comes of this wonderful project.
